This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage in your browser) the BASE Expoziției website uses, who sets them and how you can change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), keep information in the same way. Strictly necessary ones can be used without your consent; all others only with your consent.
Strictly necessary
Our site sets one cookie of its own, bx_consent, which is strictly necessary and keeps your cookie choice for 180 days. It cannot be switched off and is not used for any other purpose.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
bx_consent | Keeps your cookie choice | 180 days | Strictly necessary |
plausible_ignore, bx_analytics_opt_out (localStorage) | Keeps analytics off after you withdraw consent (local storage in your browser). | Until you consent again or clear the site’s data. | Strictly necessary |
Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) | Cookies or data stored by Cloudflare where the anti-spam check of the forms needs them; only after you start filling in a form. | Set by Cloudflare | Strictly necessary, from Cloudflare (third party) |
Anti-spam check
When you start filling in or send a form, the Cloudflare Turnstile check loads and runs on the form page. Cloudflare then receives your IP address and technical data about your browser and device, used strictly for this check.
The check runs in a frame loaded from Cloudflare’s domain (challenges.cloudflare.com). For it, Cloudflare may use cookies or other data stored in your browser on its own domain, which it considers strictly necessary to detect bots; we do not set or read them. See Cloudflare’s “Turnstile Privacy Addendum” at www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.
Until you start filling in a form, the site does not contact Cloudflare.
Analytics (optional)
We use an analytics tool only if you accept it. Until you consent, the analytics script does not load.
The tool used: Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookies and shows us only aggregate statistics, such as the pages visited, where the visit came from, the type of device and the country; we do not use this data to identify you.
If you withdraw your consent, the site keeps a note in your browser’s local storage so that analytics stays off (see the table).
Maps
The static map on the Location page is hosted on our site and makes no requests to other services. Map data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
The interactive map loads from OpenFreeMap only after you press the button to open it. Your browser then connects to that service’s servers, which receive your IP address. We set no cookies for the map.
Fonts
The site’s fonts are hosted on our site. We do not use external font services.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising, profiling or social media cookies, and we do not load tracking pixels.
How to change your choice
You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. If you refuse analytics, the site works just the same.
You can delete cookies and the site’s data at any time in your browser settings.
